Over the years, Julie and I have had many questions about the fitness modeling industry and what it is like to be part of a professional photo shoot. We have addressed these questions several times during her team training sessions and those seminars and talks turned out to be very hot topics. To this end, we decided to host a Fitness Modeling workshop that was open to anyone.
If you have dreamed of being on the cover or your favorite fitness magazine, the first step towards making that a realization is learning how to pose. Posing for the camera is not as easy as it may seem. Many women have a fit look and yet still cannot make it in the modeling world. Simply having the right look only takes you so far. Many women would love to be in the mags, but few do their homework and actually practice their modeling skills. Successful models do have good genetics and a great look but exceptional models - the ones that get those covers - take the time to practice and know how to move their body in a way that highlights their strengths while downplaying their weaknesses.
Similarly, if you have competed in Fitness or Figure before, you would not dream of stepping on stage without being properly prepared and practicing your posing. Modeling is much the same! Don’t use your first big opportunity with a great photographer or magazine as your first practice.
We are excited to invite you to our Fitness Modeling Workshop at the new Lohre Creative River Imaging Studio in Cincinnati, OH.
This workshop is limited to 6 women for each session to be sure that you get one on one, individual attention!
