A very simplified description of the steps involved:
Take a body cap cover for your SLR and mill out the interior portion so you are left with a mount and ring/land area. (Metal body caps are preferable if you can land one)

Chose your lens...err...can - Pringles, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Campbell's Tomato Soup.

Machine a hole in the exact center of the can. Art used a laser cutter...but there are machine drill bits with small enough diameter.

Mount the ring now onto the modified can of your choice...using epoxy or JB Weld.

Test...there are a number of calculations for the f-stop etc...but for now, this should get you started.

If you're interested in exact info and calculation info, drop me an e-mail through my website...
Cheers,
Rick

Always good to read about Rollerblading, my ex was of olympic standards..

Can I ask though - how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive, is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Hey man, I took a deeper look at the website and the only thing that I would suggest is putting higher res pictures of the studio. It seems that the pictures you have of the studio are too compressed and look choppy. Otherwise, everything else is beautiful.

I believe that is an HDR, but the difference is that this one is really well done in order to make it realistic. The details in the shadows gives me an impression of an HDR.
