While originally I was scheduled to do a photo shoot the morning of the 4th, Mother Nature had other plans…mainly dumping water on us. LOL
Despite the moisture, I still got some great family shots! Whether at work or play, I’m always behind the camera…here’s a few shots I grabbed at the annual 4th of July parade in Ft. Mitchell, KY. A small town tradition continues some 34 years later after the first.
While it was a bit lower in attendance than drier years past, it was very enjoyable (maybe due to lack of crowdedness).
Flags for everyone, lots of smiling faces and plenty of penny candy (actually probably quarter now with gas prices on the rise) - and what type of 4th of July parade would it be without the wonderful politicians handing stickers out to the kids…I guess it is an election year
