Well, it’s official. Rick Lohre Photography has moved into a new studio in Cincinnati OH.
It’s been some time in the making, but tonite we (by we I mean the whole family) moved our equipment, studio lighting, camera gear, stands, etc. into the studio and started with a few test setups.
Wanting to give the new digs a run through of a shoot, I set up a small light setup. Not one to shy from the camera, Julie (Fitness Cover model) jumped in and gave me a test subject to shoot and set lights up on…soon followed by Tre, not to be outdone by mommy, he quickly hammed it up!
What follows here at the bottom of this entry is a short time lapse capture of the setup and a few snapshots of the studio. We had fun….played hard and are ready to roll for our photoshoots tomorrow. We’ll be doing some work with a few fitness models for both publication and stock imagery.
As for what I’ll be posting in the near future, here’s a short list of ideas: short thoughts, updates from recent shoots, previews of what’s to come, photography tips, studio lighting do’s and don’t and anything else that comes to my mind.
